This 100% pure beeswax candle is molded from an antique Shurick Drug Co. glass bottle.
This bottle is one of the rarest of them all, making this candle extra special. The Bulletin of Pharmacy, Volume 29 published in 1915, describes Wrangell as one of the oldest Alaskan towns. In the beginning of the 20th Century, Wrangell had two physicians that both operated their own drug stores. Shurick Drug Co. was one of those stores and is pictured with the product.
This bottle is over 100 years old and is owned by Lindsay Wheeler.
